Demerara Bank Ltd. is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representative. As a reputable financial institution, we are committed to delivering top-tier service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Position: Clerks

Key Responsibilities:

•  Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the branch.

•  Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries, accurately and efficiently.

•  Provide information on bank products and services, promoting relevant offerings.

•  Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security procedures.

•  Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate records of transactions.

•  Assist with resolving customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.

•  Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and objectives.
 

Qualifications & Skills:

•  Six (6) CSEC passes - Grades 1 & 2 (Mathematics and English are compulsory)
•  Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
•  S
trong communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
•  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•  Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
•  Proficiency in computer applications.
•  Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•  Ability to handle cash accurately and securely.
•  Exceptional customer service orientation.
•  Team player with a positive attitude.
•  Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
•  Confidentiality and ethics in handling customer information.
